Harbor Tours offers a variety of tours along Cape Ann's coast. They've been in business since 1969 and have the type of tours that make for an unforgettable trip to our area.

The Cape Ann Lighthouse Cruise is one of Harbor Tours most popular cruises. You'll be able to see sections of Cape Ann that can't be viewed by auto. The cruise includes an up-close-and-personal visit to the area's historic lighthouses, drawbridges, local islands, and Gloucester's fishing fleet. The trip is about 2.5 hours. Restrooms are available. Snacks and drinks are also available.

The Lobstering Harbor Tour is a 1.25 hour tour of the lobstering industry in our area. You'll see how lobsters are harvested, and you're kids will even have the opportunity to help with a lobster haul.

Charter trips are available for business outings, evening cruises, parties, and theme celebrations. These trips head up the Annisquam River, one of the most unique and beautiful parts of the Rockport/Gloucester area. You'll see a variety of wildlife, including herons, egrets, sandpipers, and cormorants. Restrooms, as well as drinks and snacks, are available on board.

Cape Ann Whale Watch

Cape Ann Whale Watch is unusual in that they guarantee whale sightings on their whale watching tours. If you don't see whales, you can ride with them for free, until you do.

The company has been in business 42 years. Tours head out to Stellwagen Bank on the 115 foot Hurricane II, an extremely fast and stable whale watch boat. It's also the largest whale watch boat north of Boston.

7 Seas Whale Watch

7 Seas Whale Watch provides whale watching tours form Cape Ann out to the Stellwagen Bank Marine Sanctuary. Trips are intended to provide education, as well as inspiration. 7 Seas Whale Watch is a family owned and family run business, and have been in business for decades. With easy access to Stellwagen Bank and Jeffrey's Ledge, the company is able to get to whale feeding areas quickly.

The crew of 7 Seas Whale Watch know typical feeding and swimming patterns of whales in the area. This helps the crew provide you with a successful whale watching experience. Their ship, the Privateer IV, is one of the newest and most comfortable whale watching boats running out of Gloucester. Trips are usually a half day.

On a trip with 7 Seas Whale Watch, you have the possibility of getting to see a variety of whale species. The most common whales spotted are Humpback Whales. Finback Whales and Minke Whales are also common. Less common are Pilot Whales, Harbor Porpoises, and Atlantic White-Sided Dolphins..

My husband and I went here for lunch it was excellent. We had the clam chowder and and order off onion rings. We split the fisherman’s platter. We both loved it and would come again the view was beautiful even in the rain!
